The weekend was full of Events.

I went yardsaling with the CapHill crew (Cherie, Synde, Suezie and Ellen), and found nothing. There were a few things--a purple velvet armchair, a vintage Polaroid slide camera, and an antique ginger jar--that I wanted but nothing I could convince myself to buy. After I screwed up my hand picking up a (fairly light and innocuous) box about six weeks ago, my Crazy Ukrainian Doctor (tm) pronounced that I probably had tendoitis and must go squeeze the little ball for a month or two to clear it up. The big happy up front--The Witch's Alphabet went from 79,000 words to roughly 120,000, with only about 3,000 words of cuts. Clearly, the book had more to tell me when I started editing.
